Anything worth doing...

Have you heard the saying "Not all that glitters is gold" or even "A stitch in time saves nine"? When planning an event, its better to take your time to find what you want and what fits your budget. You don't want to get a venue that exceeds your budget just to compromise many other essential factors down the road. When you mix gems with dirt, it doesn't look as pretty, and if you think people won't notice, you are sadly mistaken. As an event planner I encourage my clients to create a budget and work with the budget, I also try to work with the vendors, not manipulate them to be at a loss. When I plan an event, I want it to be gold, not just glitter like it. And I encourage everyone to apply this principle in all that you do. I'll end by saying that its better to spend your time in creating a dream, than it is to spend time fixing a mess. Which time do you think was well spent?

Yummy Mummy Yaaayness!

A BIG HUGE HUMONGOUS Thank you to our friends at the Yummy Mummy Club for featuring our event. As a new mom with a four month old baby, I can appreciate what they do. Check them out and see what they have to offer to us modern savvy mommas. I enjoy the latest events, the stories that the moms share (which I smile about as a mom who can relate and learn from them), the giveaways, shopping tips and product details, endless interesting articles, Boy do they have a lot to offer. As for the MILF section, I guess my acronym would be My Innovative Long-lasting Future!

Out with the old, in with the NEW!!!

After several days and even weeks of staring at that orange picture I used temporarily for the social media pages, I decided I'd had enough. My trusted friend had designed the new ones and I absolutely loved them all, it was hard to decide on which one would be the next representation of us. I'm glad to say although we have gotten reviews that they look girly and bias, I think it's a keeper. I don't think our male clients will feel intimidated or left out. No worries men, we can get down and dirty into the nitty gritty of your events and you wont be disappointed.
.. .Now I can sleep in peace, you rock Sis!!!

Chapter 1

Coco Chanel once said "a girl should be two things: classy and fabulous", I guess you can say it inspired me to dream big. I have always painted a picture of nothing less than a fabulous life, and that's what The Socialites Manual offers our clients. I'm super excited about the Sneak Peek Event, more info coming soon.
