I'm an entrepreneur, Now what?

I'm sure we have all asked ourselves this question. Not knowing where to begin,because there's so much to be done. I remember when I got the idea to start up a business in event services, I had a lot of questions running through my mind. I started loading up my brain with resources in order to build my expertise. After a while it seemed like all I was doing was educating myself and I remember someone telling me "Just Do It". After letting the idea settle within me, I had to make some decisions:
What type of events do I want to plan?
What was my demographic?
How can I expand the business while staying true to my passion?
So many questions...
I'll end by saying "So far, So good"

Be Inspired!

We got inspired to write a blog post today after reading this piece on The Sprinkles cupcake ATM. While watching the video I kept reflecting on these words "You're an entrepreneur if... you see opportunities that others do not" thanks @BizWizKevin (you can follow him on twitter). I tried to imagine how that idea came, the process of wrapping the mind around it, and even accepting the fact that you might be on to something. This is what a lot of entrepreneurs deal with on a daily basis, we have to think outside the box, step out of the norm and create our own trend. This is innovation at its best. Kudos to the team!

Give, Giving, Giveaway!

We are so excited and we can't contain it. We just have to share with our fabulous gals what's in store for Saturday. We saw a wonderful pair of Steve Madden Shoes, it's absolutely chic! As if we have ever seen a pair of Steve Madden shoes we don't like Lol. We also have the pleasure of giving the first ten people good old fashioned cold pressed soap from "Secrets of the Sun Woman". It's 2 Days Away

Oh my, how time flies. I remember when I started planning this event, all the ideas I had in my head I sure could juggle with them. However, I must say that I am pleased with the outcome and how the event evolved. It is something I believe is very practical for this time of the year, something that is eco-friendly and It is swapping 'til you drop. I don't know about you but I am soooo excited and Saturday can't come any quicker. Many more surprises to come, we will also reveal one of the prizes for the raffle draw ;)

I feel so blessed to be featured in The Broken Heel Diaries. This journey has been exceptional and for the first time in a while I'm short of words. It all started when I sent my marketing kit to Andrea. I remember when I read the email, I wasn't expecting what I saw, Andrea had asked to feature me in BHD's Women in Business.When Andrea told me to send in some details about myself and the event, I was beyond excited.
